Analysis
The subject matter of this photo is a woman wearing a red headscarf, two images have been merged together to created a mirror like effect, which bring in the theme of idea ifdentity and two sidesof a persons idenitity or even the side which the person themself sees and the ide that everyone else sees.
The picture conveys a atmosphere of jealousy as the figure of on the left is looking over her shoulder to the figure on the right with a look that seems as if she is juding her or is jealous of her even though they are the same person.
Sarah ahs used colour to carefully outline the tow faces and to sublty highlight her features. This use of colour gives the photo a cold feeling due to the blue hue in the background but the red of the headscarf and lipstick give the photo a assertive and confident but over-bearing feel to it.
Sarah is trying to communicate the feeling of having two sides to your identity and the conflict that can arise between these to sides of yourself and how others see you.

My Photo's in the style of Sarah Cheng-De Winne
For this photo shoot i plan to create the pale white faced look with small amounts of colour injected into the image in selected places, i will do this by using white and red face paints to cat the subjects face too remove the element of personality. i will also play around with the use of a scarf to cover more of the subject to hide more of the persons personality and identity. The most important element of this photo shoot is make sure the two version of the same face have two contrasting facial expressions to create the illusion o a persona having two conflicting sides to their personality.
